Seventy-five years ago it took several determined individuals, a beautiful location, the Lord's blessing, and $100 to construct the first building at Riverside. What does it take in 2009 to continue this ministry? It takes faithful individuals, a beautiful location, the Lord's continued blessing, and $115.00 per day to cover the general operating expenses. Although there are other expenses related to ensuring the ministry at Riverside thrives ,the general operating expenses are critical for survival. These expenses include the essentials such as fuel, electricity, facility and equipment upkeep, licensing, and insurance. In 1934, those who founded Riverside and sought out that first $100 to construct the chapel could only dream of the impact their efforts would have even today. Challenge 2010 is your opportunity to continue that impact and help fulfill those dreams. Would you be willing to accept the challenge and give at least $115.00 to sponsor a day at Riverside. At the close of this anniversary year we are inviting you to give $115.00 toward the 2010 general operating expenses of Riverside. Together, just like the individuals in 1934, we to can make a difference for Christ. |
