RSI
Riverside Servanthood Institute seeks to train and equip high school students to be effective servant-leaders at Riverside and in their communities. In doing so, we believe that students will see the importance of developing a good work ethic and a great attitude about the opportunity to serve others.
RSI Training Camp is mandatory in order to serve on RSI. RSI students must attend regardless of number of years served. Click here for more information about RSI Training Camp and to register.
Spiritual Growth
All RSI students also spend time each day with their RSI Coordinators growing in their faith through sessions with different speakers, through times of prayer and devotion, and teambuilding activities. Being a part of RSI is about serving those who come here to Riverside, but it is also about Riverside serving them through discipleship and mentoring. If this interests you, don't hesitate to contact us or follow the steps to apply!
Crews
RSI students will have the opportunity to serve on different crews: Farm Crew, Kitchen and Operations, Projects, and Counselors in Training.
Farm Crew works on River Hills Farm, a partner ministry with Riverside, and is responsible for caring for all the animals, completing projects, and hosting educational farm visits with campers.
Kitchen and Operations Crew has a wide range of duties related to meals in the dining hall and programming during camp; they assist with tubing and swim times, serve in the camp store during canteen time, and support counselors in their roles with campers.
Project crew works with Brian, our maintenance man, to complete projects to improve the camp's look and create a better experience for campers and guests that come to Riverside.
Counselors in Training will spend their week in a cabin with campers! This is an extremely rewarding crew to be a part of. You will be assigned to a cabin with an adult counselor and spend all day having fun with your campers and supporting them in all they need. This position is for those 16 years old or above.
